A 90-minute ritual

The Tea
Blending Workshop

A guided practice in slowing down. We gather around a long linen table, breathe in a dozen botanicals, and blend a tea that holds the shape of your week — restless, tender, quietly hopeful, or whatever else has been asking for your attention.

A linen table set with bowls of dried botanicals, a brass spoon, handwritten recipe card, and a steaming porcelain cup

Saturdays at the studio, no experience required.

The intention

“We don't make tea here. We make a small, deliberate space to listen to yourself — and then we hand you the leaves to bottle that listening into something you can sip all week.”

— Mira, workshop guide

The ritual

Five quiet movements,
slowly walked.

Each workshop follows the same gentle arc. There is nothing to get right — only an invitation to pay attention.

  1. 01

    Arrive & soften

A warm welcome cup, a hand-warming towel, and a few minutes of guided breath to leave the day at the door.

  2. 02

    Listen inward

A short reflection prompt — what does this week need from you? Quiet? Courage? Rest? Your answer becomes your blend.

  3. 03

    Meet the botanicals

Smell, touch, and taste twelve loose-leaf teas, herbs, flowers, and spices. We share their stories and what they tend to.

  4. 04

    Blend your tin

With your guide, weigh and layer your personal blend — one for the season, one for the feeling, or one for someone you love.

  5. 05

    Steep & name

Brew your first pot, write your blend a name on a hand-stamped label, and sit with it. No rush.

A note on the practice

Self-care that
you can taste.

Blending tea asks for the same things any caring act does — patience, attention, and a willingness to be honest about what you need today.

Eight seats. One table.

  • Perfect for solo dates, close friends, or a quiet birthday
  • Beginner-friendly — no tea knowledge needed
  • Caffeine-free options available throughout
  • Each blend is suitable for daily home brewing

Gentle questions

A few things, before you arrive.

Do I need any tea experience?
Not at all. Most of our guests have never thought hard about tea before — that is part of the gift. Your guide will walk you through every leaf.
How personal is the blend, really?
Truly yours. You choose every ingredient based on a short reflection at the start. Two guests sitting beside each other almost never leave with the same tin.
Can I come alone?
Yes — many of our favorite sessions are filled with people who came on their own. We seat at a shared table, but the practice itself is solitary and reflective.
Can I book a private workshop?
Yes. We host private sessions for birthdays, bridal showers, team offsites, and grief circles. Write to us and we'll shape it with you.
